Lady Killer (Part 2)

Being a baby certainly has its perks. The female creatures will come up, coo and make funny faces to you. Of course, I wouldn't mind if they are pretty and nice lah. Keke!!! Actually I am quite ok with the aunties and po pos too. Like the Mama shop auntie downstairs. She is quite funny too. Everytime she sees me, she will whip out her bottle of soap and blow bubbles for me. So funny... but then, there are also so "weird" aunties who made ugly faces that are not funny and commented that I was "gon gon" and no response one. Humph!!!

Other than the 3 key women in my life (Mommy, Nai Nai and Po Po) who simply cannot resist my charms, I have also managed to charm some of Mommy's friends and other relatives. Check out those pictures below. Keke!!!

Four women and an adorable babe!

Mommy couldn't say no if I want a ride on the shoulders.

Me and the birthday girl - Auntie Xiaowen!

Auntie Ling from Indonesia

Lady Killer (Part 1)

I am a social creature and I love to make friends. So far, my regular playmate is Lisa Jie Jie. Occasionally, I get to meet YiYing Jie Jie too.

Photos taken at Lisa Jie Jie's house during CNY. Everytime I go there, I will play with her Winnie the Pooh Bouncer. She has gotten "sian" with it liao. She only gets interested in it when I play with it. Must share share toys then fun mah!!! Keke!!!

Mommy has decided that she is not going to send me to any play programs until I can walk on my own. Shoots! Like that how to make more friends leh?!

Anyway, I prefer to make friends with girls. Mommy and Dadi brought me out to buy groceries last night. Hee! I saw this really cute babe jie jie. She was probably a year older than me.I tried to strike a conversation with my Baby talk but she "ma-jiam" didn't understand leh. Boh-bian!!! She graduated from baby talk, but I haven't leh. Anyway, I must have terrorised her cos she didn't want to play with me leh. Mommy said if I continue to terrorise the girls, I will end up with no girlfriends liao.... Hey! I thought the ladies love me!!! :9

Me and Mr Raymond Scissorshands

My hair is long again. Gong Gong and Ye Ye had been nagging about it. Raymond Scissorhands decided it is time to show off his incredible skills again. If u are wondering who is this infamous Raymond Scissorhands, let me tell you --- he is my Dadi lah!!!

He took care of my last two haircuts when I was 4 months and 11 months old. The full month haircut was minor as Mommy only snipped off a little bit of hair from my nape. Those 2 hair jobs that Dadi undertook were major ones. Check out the botak haircut when I was 4 months old.
Sweet angel sleeping soundly, not knowing what is to come...

Awakened by the humming of the electric shaver... Checking out his barber...

Nothing exciting, back to sleep again...
Mommy doing the final QC to check the botak haircut.

No pictures for the last haircut cos Dadi was busy snipping away while Mommy was playing clown to distract me. :)

Me and My "Tang Poems"

Haha!!! Mommy says I must know my Tang Poems (Tang Shi) and got me a little book on them. She was quite on initially and read to me about some moonlight shining on the floor and snow on the ground...whatever. Nowadays, she is too busy and simply throws me the books to keep me occupied. See me reading in the below pictures taken when I was around 10 months old. I can't really read but I like the "ang gong" inside. Keke!!!

So studious right?

Announcement! Another Baby Girl!!!

Hear Ye! Mommy's friend - Auntie Joey gave birth to a Baby Girl 2 weeks back. It is BB Shyanne!!! Auntie Joey said she looks like her Daddy, Uncle Sam. No pictures to show you yet. Mommy will take pictures and post them after we visit them. Hee? Girlfren No. 3???

Super Glue

Dadi has been labelling me the "Super Glue" as I have grown more fond of Mommy and sticks to her closely. This morning, Mommy had to leave the house earlier for work and got up earlier at 7am. I not stupid ok?! I knew she was up and moving around and quickly scrambled to my hands and knees and turned all my charms on her. It worked... but only a short while before she put me in the playpen and made her way through the door despite my pleas... heartless Mommy... ignore my pleas and still said "Mommy come back and play with you tonight, ok?". Tsk tsk tsk... you think I didn't hear you hah? U told Dadi last night that you are meeting the aunties for makan tonight and would be back late leh... Hmm! Ignore you tonight. : p

I'm such a SWEET boy!!!

Nai Nai was sick last week and Dadi and Mommy had to take turns to take leave to take care of me. The horror of all horrors struck last Tue when Dadi discovered an ant bite on my face, just below my left eye. It was nasty, big, red and swollen, and simply refused to subside after 2 days despite constant medication.

Sorry leh, no pictures to show cos Mommy said I looked so ugly and I would spoil the camera if I took any pictures. In order to keep the medication on the bite, Mommy had to put an ugly white plaster over it. Do you think I would obediently keep it there? Of course not!!! My itchy fingers quickly peeled it off. :p

Other then that bite on the face, Mommy also discovered one on my right elbow and another one in my left palm. She ascertained that the ants came for a feast on the crumbs that I dropped from my snacking and was so obsessed with cleaning up Nai Nai's place everyday, just to rid of the ants.

Hee! I don't think that was the cause lah. I think I'm a sweet boy and the ants like to kiss me lah. : )

My Girlfriend No 2

Let me introduce my girlfriend No. 2 - Yi Ying Jie Jie. She is 2 weeks older then me. She stays just across the street from us. Her Mummy and my Mommy were Secondary School friends. So nice hor!!! Then, we can follow our mommies' example and start off as childhood good friends lor. Keke!!!
This photo was taken on her first birthday. See her big 3D birthday cake? The teddy was as big as her leh!!! It sure looks yummy although I did not get to eat the cake.

Hihi!!!

Hihi!!! I'm back. Long time no updates from me hor. Actually Mommy tried to post some updates last Monday but she encountered some server problems. Then, Nai Nai fell sick and she was busy taking care of me and no time to blog. Hee, never mind lah. She will slowly upload the stuff.

My Verdict on Kindermusik

Haha!!! Mommy brought me to Kindermusik at Tanglin Mall last Sun afternoon, together with Auntie Shu'Ai and Yi Ying Jie Jie.

U want to know my verdict of the whole experience? It was..... superb!!! Fun!!! Yeah!!! I got to make a lot of noise and nobody complained about it. I also explored the place by crawling around. Poor Mommy got to chase after me as I did not confirm safety in my movements and often knocked into the other Jie Jies and Kors Kors and Aunties.

We played with musical instruments such as clappers and drums. Auntie Doreen would carry her rag doll and gave instructions to the mommies on what to do. Mommies had to carry, swing, toss, rock and sing to us. We kids were the kings and queens. It was so fun. (But then, Mommy complained about aching arms to Dadi later in the night cos she was hoisting and swinging me throughout the full 45 minutes).

Anyway, I had no pictures to show cos Mommy was busy running after me. Anyway, she was not keen to sign me up for the lesson cos she said Tanglin Mall was too far from home and she cannot tahan carrying me around for 45 mins. She would only send me for classes if I start walking on my own. :(

My New Past-time

Haha!!! I have been driving Mommy and Dadi crazy nowadays. Although I am still cruising, I love to climb up and down, especially on the bed. Keke! Here are some shots of me inching my bottom of the bed. Now I smart liao ok. Since I turned 11 months, I know how to turn around and "go shan" to get off the mattress or bed liao. Steady, Poon Pi Pi ok!
Steady steady, Go Shan, Go Shan...
Yeah, feet touching ground soon...
Yeah! Successful touch down!!! 10 upon 10!!!

*Smug Look* (Mommy: "Hao Lian" Boy...tsk tsk...)
< Why no good thumbs up for me???

My Girlfren No. 1

This little girl is Lisa Jie Jie. She is 3 months older than me. Hee hee! She's very cute. Mommy said she is one of my many girlfrens. Let me give her the title of Girlfren No.1 cos she is the 1st girl to grace my blog. See how good we look together? So "chio" and so "yan dao" right?

These pictures came about cos Nai Nai wanted us to feed chocolate to each other. Hmmm... yummy at first...but not when Lisa Jie Jie started shoving it into my mouth.... *muffled*

Yeah!!! My Trial Lesson with KinderMusik this coming Sunday!!!

Hihi!!! No news in my blog for a long time yah? Mommy was busy with her new job lah. Anyway, Mommy is going to bring me to Kindermusik for a trial lesson this Sun!!! Yeah!!! Nicholas Kor Kor and YiYing Jie Jie are coming along. There are other toddlers in the class to play with. Yeah, can make new friends again. While we kids play, the mommies can catch up with each other.

Actually, Mommy wanted to "jio" Auntie Angeline to bring Javier Di Di for the same lesson... but, he's under-aged lor. Not yet one year old, so cannot join class. Wasted.... Nevermind, Javier Di Di, I will update you on the stuff we did in this blog ok?

Lunar New Year. *Wang Wang!!!*

Hihi!!! It is the 9th Day of the Lunar New Year of the Fiery Dog!!! *Woof Woof*

Mommy just came back from a long period of leave so she needs time to update this blog and add in the pictures.

This CNY was a noisy one cos there were a lot of lion dances at the hawker centres and kopitiams across the street. Mommy and Dadi brought me out for lunch on the 6th day and I saw a pink Lion dancing in the kopitiam. Oh boy! It sure was loud, but it was interesting too. The gongs and drums were real big and loud and Mommy covered my ears tightly to protect my eardrums (Hee hee! Didn't know that I have drums in my ears too. That's why I have been digging my ears recently to get to these drums that Mommy was talking about. : p)

It was a fun period with lots of yummy makan and ang pows. Everytime I get an ang pow (only on the first 2 days of CNY cos the adults said Tai Ma passed away and we could not celebrate CNY), Dadi would ask me to give him. I'm such a good boy, of course I gave lah!

Anyway, back to Tai Ma. Mommy informed me in the morning on the 3rd day that Tai Ma had gone to be a fairy and we would not see her anymore. I was only brought down to this place at the void deck where they placed Tai Ma's picture for everyone to see. There were lots of people, lights, banners, blankets and flowers...but no ang pows. The adults were saying that Tai Ma was a fortunate old lady who lived to a ripe old age and had a great grandson (me lah!). I will definitely miss her. Anyway, Mommy and Dadi took a few pictures of Tai Ma and me at the lunch session to celebrate my birthday. I could look at them and relive those fond memories. I will share the photos next time.

Chinese New Year - Da Ji Da Li

This CNY was exciting cos I am a big boy now and I could eat a lot of things, such as the cookies and the mandarin oranges. Mommy did not want to help me peeled the oranges so I helped myself to it.

On CNY 1st day, I took a chomp at this orange after I had my fun with it (throwing, rolling and kneading). Mommy panicked and pried my mouth open to get the peel. Anyway, it didn't taste good. Tangy, but bitter leh... Anyway, Mommy thought it was funny and took a picture of the poor orange.

On CNY Day 2, I decided to take another chomp at the orange, this time at Gong Gong's place. Never learn my lesson yah. eah, I'm a stubborn one. Anyway, this time Dadi pried my mouth to dig out the peel cos I decided to chew on it (Hey! I got 8 teeth, U know?!). Mommy decided to take another picture of the orange. Uncle Teck laughed at me and sais I am not a very clever baby. He said when he was around my age, he knew how to dig a hole through the orange skin, poke the finger, take out and lick the juice leh..... So clever meh, who told him one??? He could remember meh??? Sure or not??? *Puzzled* *Not Convinced*

Chip off the Block

Here's a picture of Dadi when he was a toddler. Do we look alike? Well, the shape of the face is more or less there lor. : )

Mommy has always wanted a baby boy who looks like Dadi. In fact, she was kind of disappointed when everyone commented that I looked so much like her. Dadi was also kind of jealous. Hee hee! However, more people are commenting that I look like Dadi more nowadays. He is so proud now.

I'm a chip off the block and shares Dadi's playfulness, such as biting people. Keke!!! Dadi and I often play this biting game where we try to take a chomp at each other. So ticklish and funny.

Talk about biting, Mommy decided that I am a big boy now and biting should not be tolerated. I chomped on her cheek on Mon night and she used a finger to smack my cheek. Not very painful lah, but I still managed to squeeze out 2 trails of tears and Ye Ye tried to come to rescue me from Mommy's clutches. However, Mommy was adamant about disciplining me and refused to let Ye Ye carry me. Shucks! I better behave myself. Anyway, I am now a big Kor Kor to Jaden Di Di and Ethan Di Di. Must set good example. This will be my New Year Resolution. : )

I love Mommy and Dadi

I love Mommy and Dadi so much. I will wake up every morning in time to catch them before they go to work. Usually, I will turn my charms on Mommy to make her linger longer and play with me. Her heart melted when I cooed to her yesterday morning. Hee! This morning, it was my ultimate killer smile that made her late for work again. ; )

Nevermind, there will be many days of festive holidays where Mommy and Dadi could spend their time with me. I sometimes drive them crazy cos I am cruising now and they have constantly keep an eye on me. I am also very mobile and agile now. I move so fast that sometimes they also couldn't keep up with me. Yeah!!!

Tai Ma (Great Grandma)

Dadi and Mummy said Tai Ma is sick and hospitalised. Something about a stroke. I hope Tai Ma recovers soon cos I really like her and she loves me a lot as I am her first great grandson. Hospital sucks and I really hope she recovers soon to go back to Simei home. In the meantime, Ye Ye, Nai Nai and Dadi have been shuttling between home and hospital while Mommy watches over me. They said I can't go and visit cos hospital is full of germs. See? How I hate hospitals. Maybe I could visit Tai Ma during CNY and cheer her up a bit. Miss you, Tai Ma.... Please recover soon.

Yeah!!! CNY around the corner!!!

See this sunshine smile? This nice picture was taken by Auntie Noel... Oops! It's Noel Jie Jie when Mommy brought me to office when I was 3 mths old. Swee bor? Noel Jie Jie very good at coaxing babies to smile at the camera. Anyway, I also very smart boy cos Noel Jie Jie is very pretty and I have to turn my charms on her lah. Mommy says I very "Ham Sup" one, likes only the pretty girls. Keke!!!

This is my 2nd CNY. I have no memories of my first CNY celebrations cos I was a wee 2 weeks old. Only remembered that Mommy put me into the pram to sleep and put me at the dining table for the reunion dinner. I woke up and disrupt their reunion dinner cos I wanted my dinner too. :)

Anyway, I am looking forward to tomorrow's dinner. Nai Nai said we are having steamboat for dinner. So cute! I wonder how a steamboat would look like... must be yummy cos I know Nai Nai is a good cook. She cooks yummy porridge for me everyday. Dadi had also specially brought the high chair over to Nai Nai's place so that I could join them at the dining table. Yipee! I get to eat my fave fish, veggie and tofu liao. Yums! The soup is nice too!!! Oh yes! We are also having reunion lunch at Po Po's place. Lots of nice dishes too! And I get to play with Uncle too. Yeah! So exciting!!!

1st Birthday Celebration (Part 3)

Since there was no birthday party for me on 19 Jan 06, Mommy and Dadi decided to make up to me and rounding up Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Gong Gong, Po Po, Tai Ma, Gu Po and Uncle Teck for a dim sum buffet to Tung Lok Seafood at East Coast. Yums!!! I could eat my fave Char Siew Pao (just the skin lah!).

This is a shot of Tai Ma and me. Hee! I love Tai Ma!!

Hee, the young man carrying me is Uncle Teck. Gong Gong is pointing to the camera to get me to focus in that direction. See my Po Po? Her complexion is very good hor?

Yeah! Our Quan Jia Fu!!! Mommy saves this picture as her PC backdrop.

Picture wih Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Tai Ma and Gu Po.

So happy today!!! Other than my usual home-cooked porridge, I got to eat my Char Siew Pao, egg tart and that sweet sweet dessert with fu zhu, waterchestnut and corn. Yums! Lets go there again. : )

1st Birthday Celebration (Part 2)

Dadi came home, but he wasn't feeling well. Ye Ye and Nai Nai left for their lesson... Only Mommy and me alone with the presents and eggs. Mommy tried to entice me with the presents, but I was more interested in the pretty little red eggs... As usual, I got my fun out of smashing them to the ground.

Waiting... waiting...waiting.... Zzzzzz..... finally, 9.30pm! Ye Ye and Nai Nai came back and Mommy finally brought out the cake. Yums!

Yipee! Got fire on the cake!!!
Cut cake liao!
Yummy! Mango filling in the cake. Sweet! I like!!!

1st Birthday Celebration (Part 1)

My birthday falls on a Thur... only Mommy took leave for the day... Boh Bian, Dadi and Ye Ye got to work, plus Ye Ye and Nai Nai got to attend their Er Hu lesson at the CCC tonight.... sigh... when can I get my grubby fingers on the red eggs and cake leh...

See what Mommy fed me during the day.... Banana... what did I play with? 1 miserable balloon... from McDonald's some more....

*Gasp* U mean that's all for my 1st birthday??? Shan Nau Jing Orh!!!!

My 1st Birthday!!! I'm a Big Boy Now!!! Keke!!!

Today is 19 Jan 2006. Mommy said it is my 1st birthday. It is another major milestone for me again. Seems that Mommy is expecting me to do a lot of stuff, such as walking without support and call Papa and Mama discriminately... Hmmm, but I still prefer to crawl leh. Faster leh. Anyway, Nai Nai prepared some red eggs for me. Yeah! Mommy said I could eat egg white liao. No scare of allergy cos I am one liao. BTW, she also standby a bottle of codliver oil in the cabinet for me to eat. Wonder if it would be yummy? Well, can only find out later.
Since I have no party, of course my presents will not be significant lah. But still not bad leh, quite a number of packages to rip open later. I saw some red packets inside too. Wonder what is inside? So small and slim leh... anything edible to put into my mouth??
Here's my birthday cake. It's my fave Bugs Baby. It sure looks yummy. *drool*
