Who is this "Gu Niang"???

Why is it that when a boy keeps his hair longer, people start mistaking him for a girl??? This has happened to me umpteen times liao. Who to blame??? My Nai Nai and Mommy lor...cos they sometimes dress me up in pink... like a gu niang...


These pictures were taken on X'mas eve. See my fringe? Very long hor... See that pair of ugly red stockings??? Mommy actually dressed me up in that and brought me out for dinner nearby!!! Shoots!!! It was a nightmare!!! Dadi said it was ugly, but Mommy said nevermind cos Santa Claus also wears all red.... Poor Santa, his Mummy must be as bad as mine....tsk tsk

My First Cruise Trip

Mommy and Dadi decided to bring us for a cruise on a super duper big cruise ship called the Virgo in mid Nov. So shiok leh. Tai Ma, Ye Ye, Nai Nai, Gong Gong, Po Po and Uncle Teck joined us leh. I super happy cos I am the baby in the group and there were so many adults to tend to my whims and fancy. Keke!!!

Of course, there is another shot here. See, Dadi and me in the shower. Boh Bian, too troublesome to bring my bath tub onto the cruise ship so I have to go under the shower. From the look on my face, I obviously didn't quite enjoyed it... but my Mommy and Dadi got a kick out of seeing me screaming and crying lah... (See? What kinda parents are they??? Anyone wants to trade parents for a day??? I can throw in a fire engine FOC... any takers?)

My First Passport Photo

This is the series of photos taken by Dadi as Mommy and Dadi need to pick out the best for my passport application. Mommy nagged and nagged at Dadi for taking such shots as I had a trail of drool on my chin. Utimately, it was the first photo that was used, after the drool was edited by Noel Jie Jie. Noel Jie Jie really sayang me. She wanted me to look real handsome and also did some cosmetic for me to remove my eye bags and tears in the corners of my eyes. Hee hee!

Dadi likes this photo alot. He used this to do up 2 posters for Mommy and him to remind them not to work late and to hurry home to play with me. See, do I have the "qian bian" look? Haha!!!

Act of Crime

Share with u some pictures that Mommy and I like very much. These were taken when I was a month plus, coming to 2. The nice baju was from PoPo and the teddy was from Ikea. I couldn't grasp it with my fingers and simply used my arm to secure it and happily chomp away at teddy's ear. See the drool spot?

I may be a wee baby, but I also knew how to act innocent when Mommy appeared with the camera. I pretended to be pally with teddy... alas! But the drool stain too obvious liao! Hee hee!!!

Hihi, folks.

I am Ramerez. Haha... betcha first time heard such a name right? My Mommy and Daddy's friends have problems pronouncing my name. Even my mommy didn't get it right at the first few attempts (I heard Mommy struggling with the pronunciation when I was in her tummy. Keke!!!).

Ramerez was picked by my Dadi. He said it is Spanish and means "Beacon of Light". Best part, he said it is difficult to pronounce and the teachers won't get me to answer questions in class cos they won't know how to pronounce it... they will probably go "Ra...ra...ra...... U, Jon! Answer the question." Hee hee!

As my name is so difficult to pronounce, Mommy's friends call me Rara for short.

This is Mommy's first attempt at blogging as she is so inspired by Ashton Kor Kor's nice blog. Mommy is an IT idiot, so she must love me very much in order to attempt this. I lurve you, Mommy. Muaks!!!

Events and photos would not be in chronological order for a while as Mommy needs to take time to upload the stuff. I sure hope she has the perservance to pull it through. Dadi is not in favour of this, but I hope he would recognise Mommy's efforts as she is really IT idiot (Oops! I lurve u, Mommy!!!)
