Da Chang Jin

Everyone is the house is caught by the "HAN LIU" (cold draught). My usual Or-Or time is 9.30 to 10pm. Nowadays, Momi wants to watch the Da Chang Jin and my or-or time gets postponed to 11pm... I seriously don't know why the adults are so fixated with the show where the aunties had funny hairstyles and wore a balloon-type of dress, but I do agree that some of the food shown in the show look yummy. :)

Anyway, other than late or-or time, my lullaby has also changed to the theme song of the Da Chang Jin... Arghhhh!!! What a horror!!! Everything I go, I will get bombarded by this song, esp at VCD and Music CD stores. *Shudders*

Momi received the flash which makes a spoof at the Korean song, linking it to a Chinese story. She wants to post it in my blog to share with everyone. Hiaz... I very chin-chai one, so I let her lor....what to do? Hope you find it funny. :)

Hi, I'm Back!!!

Hi, folks! I am back!!! Did u miss me during my period of absence? I was sick for a pretty long period this time. High fever persisted on and off for 3 days, followed by 2 days of low grade fever. After that I developed heat rashes on my body due to the fever... tsk tsk... I was confined to the house for almost a week. No pictures or new adventures to update during my period of rest at home...
Anyway, I do have a traumatic experience to share, i.e the suppository that was applied to my... ah-hem (too shy to tell you explicitly...) to bring down the high fever. It was a traumatic experience which I do not want to be reminded of ever again. Dadi and Momi were the ones who took turns to administer that on me and I could feel that reluctance and remorse to subject me to such tortures. Momi felt especially bad, as she felt that I kena the throat infection from her when we share a bowl of bird nest. Now, she is extra careful with the cutlery that I use for my makan and I no longer get to eat her saliva liao. Keke!!!

Anyway, after one week of confinement at home, I finally got to go out to East Coast Park last Sat. Took some pictures which Momi would upload soon. It was a makan gathering for Xiao Jiu Jiu who returned to Arizona this morning. (Hee! Xiao Jiu Jiu, do drop a note at my blog when you reach Arizona leh!)

There are a few more long weekends coming up and I hope Momi and Dadi have plans to bring me gai-gai ... say to the Zoo or the Botanical Gardens?

I'm Sick.... :(

I'm sick... down with a throat infection and fluctuationg fevers since Monday afternoon... Still not quite recovered... no appetite due to the throat infection and the medication is yucky too... I have been feeling lethargic and irritable the past few days. I just want to be cuddled and sayang by the adults but they keep sponging me with cold, wet towels and put me in freaking cold air-conditioned room... Berrrr... They also force me to take those yucky medicines when my throat hurts... I hate being sick. Hope I can recover soon....

Potty Training Woes

NOTI MOMI shamelessly brought my potty over to Nai Nai's place to ask her to start potty-training me... Well, I can very surely say that potty training is not going to happen as Nai Nai has chucked the potty aside. NOTI MOMI is caught in a dilemma whether to start my potty training this weekend.... Her reservation is that there would be disruptions if she trains me over the weekend but Nai Nai discontinues the training on the weekdays... Then all her efforts would be wasted... Well, actually NOTI MOMI has noticed that nowadays I would squat to poo poo sometimes and to her, it is a clear signal that I am ready to be potty-trained... alas, probably Nai Nai thinks potty is more troublesome cos she needs to wash it after I finish my big business... oh well, I'll leave the decision to MOMI.

Anyway, my potty is nothing fanciful. No pretty colours or music. It is a simple red potty that came along with Mommy's toiletries when she got married. Dadi said it is silly and wasteful to get a musical potty. Sekali next time no music and I cannot "ng-ng" how? Hmmm... that does make some sense.

The adults are so funny... make me sit on the potty and pose ng-ng picture... Like that oso can meh???*shake head*

Poor Baby Rara!!! Absoluately helpless and clueless... manipulated by NOTI MOMI... adjusting the singlet for modesty purpose...

Enuff lah!!! Cannot tahan you adults liao!!! My butt hurts from sitting on the potty leh (even though I am wearing baby pullups)!!! I'm going up and away from the evil clutches of NOTI MOMI and DADI!!!

Me and Mr Raymond Scissorshands (Part 2)

Remember the last time I told you that I have a personal "hairstylist" - Mr Raymond Scissorshands? Some of you have noticed that my hairstyle is different in the recents few blogs right? Yah lor, Mr Raymond Scissorshands gave me my third haircut about a month again. Really short, botak haircut cos Mr Scissorshands and her pretty assistant - Notti MOMI realised that it is increasingly difficult to get me to sit still for a haircut. To avoid having to do another haircut for me in another 2 months, they decided to give me this botak haircut so that it can last for another 4 to 5 months.

Close-up shot when I still had my hair yah... Now u see my hair......
Now, u see the botak head.......

The Terrible T

Mommy wants to update this in my blog, although I am not keen.... Boh Bian, since now she is in charge, she has the freedom to upload whatever she think is interesting or important milestones in my development...

Mommy says:
T, the terrible T!!! T stands for Toddler, Terror and Tantrums!!!
Ramerez is now toddling. He is kinda caught in-between a big baby and a toddler, not just on the physiological aspects but also on his mental development. He is starting to exercise his own ideas and preferences, like a little adult. He is not quite yet Two (the terrible T again), but he is displaying some of traits commonly found in two years-old. He is quite a terror nowadays. He would cry to get what he wants, so much to the extent of regurgitating his milk or food after the crying. He would throw tantrums by sprawling on the floor and wailing out loud. He would also protest his displeasure, especially if we take off his shoes or anything that he has in his hands. He is one stubborn little fella. Dadi told me that boy flew into a panic streak on Tue evening when Ye-Ye and Nai Nai left him and Dadi alone in the house for a while. He did his sprawling on the floor in the bedroom and wailed. Dadi ignored him and left the room. That persistent silly boy followed him to the living room, got to his sprawling act on a different spot and started wailing and kissing the floor. Dadi ignored him still and moved to the kitchen. That little PI DAN got up and relocated himself to the entrance of the kitchen and put his act together again for the 3rd attempt.

My goodness! Since when he did learn that? His behaviour reminded me of a funny American home video clip where the brat did exactly the same thing!!! This little rascal was testing out his Dadi's patience. Usually by his first attempt, my In-Laws or me would have picked him up and pacified him. Dadi ignored him and he just kept trying. Stubborn little one. It is time that we act on such behaviour so that he would not ended a Terror both at home and in public places. If he pulls such a stunt in public, not only is he a public nuisance, but he is also going to embarrass us... Gosh!!! Can't image that happening. Nope, it must not happen at all.

Jumping Ramerez

Just a quick update. I am now able to jump with both feet off the ground liao!!! Keke!!! Now I can jump jump jump jump jump....

Visit to Ikea Store

Mommy and Dadi brought me to Ikea to catch its last weekend sale. Mommy wanted to buy me some kiddy furniture, a set of table and chair so that I can sit and play or doodle on the table top. She was also encouraged by Nai Nai's verdict that I would behave well on a bus ride and off we went on that Sat early afternoon. : )

The shopping part was fun as I got to sit in the trolly and messed around with some of the items. Of course, I get to personally try out some of the furniture in the kiddy section. Mommy wanted to buy me the tent and tunnel but put off the idea as the tunnel was quite small and I would outgrow it by the end of this year. Haha!!! She said she would hunt around for a bigger tunnel. Dadi wanted to buy me a plastic chair but was totally put off when he saw the long queues snaking around the cashier counters. Sigh, Dadi didn't think that it was worth the effort to queue and he put back my chair...sob sob... no chair for me... :(

Notti MOMI put the crabby on my back. I managed to wrestle away from it and yanked it off my back...

See how I tortured the poor crabby? Poked one eye and then poked the other??? No lah! Actually I was patting it. I liked it so much that Mommy was tempted to buy it for me.... I said "tempted only"hor... :(

Playing with the toy on the table. This one dun need to buy cos we have it at home liao!!! :) See the purple chair in this photo? That was the one which Dadi wanted to get for me, but he picked the green colour one instead. Nevermind lah. We will go back and get it when there is no sale crowd.

Fun Rides

I love all forms of transportation, esp those big buses. My usual mode of transport is my pram lah, which usually goes into the MRT. Other than that, it is Ye-Ye or Uncle Teck's car. Finally, on the Fri and Sat 2 weeks back, I get take my bus rides. Fri's bus ride was with Nai-Nai who brought me to Lisa Jie-Jie's house. So shiok! The bus was so big and there were many people. Nai-Nai told Mommy that I was a good boy and did not make any noise in the bus.
Mommy was encouraged by Nai-Nai verdict and brought me to Ikea the next day. Yes! We took the Ikea bus back and forth leh! Of course I behaved in the bus lah! It only took 15 minutes on the road and the constant rocking motion of the bus lulled me to sleep....Zzzzzzz.... (Mommy was very proud of me as there was this 3 yr old jie-jie who kept screaming and crying in the bus and ended up irritating a lot of people.)

Hee! Anyway, here are some pictures of the fun rides that I have enjoyed so far. : )

Sitting on my own in the MRT, with Mommy next to me. Dun look like enjoying myself leh... I am trying to get used the swaying from side to side which I usually do not experience in my pram...Sheesh! Quick!!! Pass me the BAG!!!!

Sitting on Mommy's lap in the Ikea bus. See the "Yeah!" sign from Mommy? So childish hor?

Me trying out the different kiddy cars. Usually just sit and pose lah.... esp if the sign there is a $1 or a $2, CONFIRM sit and pose only.

Get-Together with Celine Jie-Jie and Javier Di-Di

Yeah yeah yeah!!! After so long, Mommy finally brought me to Auntie Angeline's house to play with Celine Jie-Jie and Javier Di-Di. Dadi and Uncle Teck came along cos we planned to visit Gu-Po after that. Hee!!!

Anyway, I was very happy to play with other children. When I saw Celine Jie-jie from outside the house, I already squealed in delight. Mommy said I am a Ham-Sup boy, likes only the pretty girls. Kekeke!!!

I like Javier Di-di very much leh. He is so cute, so round round. We sat together and played with the toys. Mommy cuddled Di-di so much and told Auntie Angeline to exchange babies...Hmmph.... :(

Although Javier Di-di is only coming to 11 months, he is almost as big as I am. Mommy said he is catching up with me liao. Dadi corrected her that she is wrong cos by the time Javier Di-di is 14 months old, he will tower over me liao... Sheesh!!! I better eat more leh! Auntie Angeline said Javier Di-di is now 10kg woh!!! Wah! Like that he sure win me when we wrestle leh! :p

See? So many adults surrounding 2 little babies. We are the centre of attention leh!!! Keke!!!

I'm not shy one, quickly checked out the place for interesting stuff. :p
Sitting on the floor and eye-balling each other... Tripartite forum???

Javier Di-di and I playing with the toys. ( Auntie Sabrina told Mommy that I look like a little Ah Beng with the anklet... Got meh?)

Celine Jie-Jie and Javier Di-di. Look at their faces. Same same hor, machiam "cup" from the same mould hor? (Mommy cooed, "I love Javier's eye lashes!!! So curly and so pretty!!!")
