Momi's Bad Hair Day...Everyday

Hiak hiak. Momi went for a haircut at the newly open JY hairdressing/ slimming/ beauty centre at Seng Kang. She decided to have her hair cut there cos her regular hairstylist - Auntie Jo has gone back to Malaysia. She decided to give JY a try cos it offered the cheapest haircut in the entire mall... but, it was a wrong choice cos the stylist cut her hair until very very short. Now, even Dadi's hair is longer than hers. Tsk tsk...

Anyway, Dadi kept poking fun at her, saying that she's got a boy-boy cut and spent so much money some more. Dadi said Momi should have used my hairclipper to do the hair job FOC... hiak hiak... Dadi laughed at Momi's hair and I smacked him on the tummy. Poor Momi, I can understand and empathise with you cos I always kena bad hair job from Dadi (with Momi as the accomplice lah). Nevermind, cos the hair will grow back quickly. It just that now I cannot pull your hair and stomp my feet on your hair when you put your head on the pillow cos it is way too short liao. Hee hee!!!

(Momi said: "Hair too short and ugly. No face to place my photos in Rara's blog. You will see my pictures when hair is longer. :p)

Happening Monday

The contractor didn't come in today and Nai Nai decided to bring me out to gai gai. First, we went to the Airport to send off an auntie to Indonesia, then to Lisa Jie-Jie's house for lunch and play play play!!!

I was thrilled of course, as that would mean I would get my bus ride as there is a direct bus service from Nai Nai's house to the airport. Yipee!!! As usual, the moment I got to the Airport, I went amok by running all over the place. Of course, I also remembered to pop by to say "hi" to my old friend - Ronald McDonalds and gave him a big hug. It was fun as Nai Nai and the other relatives played catching with me in the airport. :P

When I went over to Lisa Jie-Jie's house in the afternoon, the 2 of us had so much fun playing with her new toys. Lisa Jie-jie would talk to me and I would respond to her with my baby-talk. I had so much fun that I forgot all about my afternoon nap.

When Ye Ye came over to fetch us home after dinner, I was so tired that I slept in the car on the way back. The moment Momi carried me into her arms, I woke up and gave her the blur look cos still groggy from sleep mah. I was tucked into bed after my milk but I didn't really sleep well because of all the fun and excitement that I had in the day. Yah, I "han bin" (had nightmares) and woke up several times in the night, crying very loudly and insisted that I wanted this and wanted that lah. Want the air-con lah, want to be carried lah, want to go out of the bedroom lah...all in a semi-conscious state. Momi and Dadi tried all ways and means to pacify. The worst happened when my diaper leaked and I wetted on myself and Momi. I literally screamed when Momi stripped off my diapers and pants. I was tearing the place down with my wailing. When my cries alerted Nai Nai, Momi was more than relieved to let her take over and bring me to her room to sleep cos she could finally catch a little sleep as it was around 4am in the morning. :p

Yah lor, too much excitement in the day and that caused my nightmares in the night. Dadi is now contemplating if he should bring me to the Zoo cos he is afraid that I would have nightmares after the trip. Hee! Momi said never mind as we are going to Zoo on Sat. If I have nightmares on Sat night, we would sleep late on Sun morning. Yipee!!! Yipee!!! Can't wait to go to the Zoo!!!

B for "Mao Mao"

Momi and I were flipping through my picture books on Sat night. We came across a fruit bowl and she pointed to a banana and asked me "What is this?". I told her "Mao Mao". She didn't quite catch it and asked me what was it again and I told her "Mao Mao". I could see her face contorted as she tried to stifle a giggle while trying to correct me by saying "No, darling. It is a banana. Say BA-NA-NA." But I was one stubborn little fella. I told her "Mao Mao" again. Momi wanted to laugh out loud as she found it funny. She tried to get me to repeat "Mao Mao" to Dadi but I was angry with her for correcting me. Now, what's wrong with "Mao Mao"????

The next day, Momi bought me a bunch of bananas and as usual, I pointed to it and said "Mao Mao" again. She kept correcting me and it made me so mad that I refused to say even "Mao Mao" after that. Momi, you are hurting my self-esteem by making fun of me leh... :(

Of course, when we went back to Nai Nai's place, Momi updated Nai Nai on the episodes where I said "Mao Mao" for banana. Nai Nai was puzzled and said she never taught me that. Well, in actual fact, I used to say "Na Na" for banana. Hmmmm... now, who could have taught me that or was it self-taught??? Hmmmm, I shall not tell you yet. Wahahahaha!!!!

Nobody wants to help me. Hmmmph!!! I wear the sandals myself...

Having Fun At the Playground

Having fun crawling in the tunnel under Momi and Dadi's watchful eyes and camera. :p

Crossing the wobbly bridge and climbing up and down.

My Special Scale

Hi, folks. I tried to smuggle myself among the suitcases on the conveyor belt at Changi Airport check-in counter so that I could fly to Jakarta with my dearest Nai-Nai... Anyway, the plan failed and I was caught in this picture.... Tsk Tsk... didn't get a free ride on the flight but got to weigh myself on the conveyor belt. Hmmm 10.6 kg only??? Surely I weigh more than that? The scale on the conveyor belt not accurate one.

Hei Bi and Hai Dai...

Notti Dadi decided to call me "Hei Bi" (meaning shrimp) after he saw me throwing a tantrum and twitching my own body while I was lying in the bed. He said the way I moved was comical and reminded him of a "Hei Bi". He imitated me and kept calling me "Hei Bi". I hated it and twitched more... ended up kena laughed at by Momi and Dadi...

What is "Hai Dai"??? It is actually "seaweed" lah. Sometimes, I would wave my hands in such a way that they look like seaweed caught in the swift tidal currents so Dadi and Momi call it my very own "Hai Dai Quen", a unique boxing which incoporates the swift (or rather, perculiar?) movement of the seaweed. Well, it is not to hurt anyone, but more to inject some laughters to those who see me practising my "Hai Dai Quen". Hai Dai, anyone?

Expressions!!!

U folks must have been bored to tears with my blog cos nowadays got very few photos. Well, the photos are getting lesser and lesser cos I no longer guai-guai pose in front of the camera. I tend to go behind it to view the image or get really up close and personal to the extent of sticking my finger at the lens. Anyway, I hope Dadi got time to upload some pictures so that Momi could post them on my blog. BTW, got a hair trim yesterday. Not very even cut so the hair is ugly. Dun think there would be loads of pictures coming in so soon. Tsk tsk..... U will have to be entertained by this collage of funny expressions. : )

Happy Birthday, Great Gong Gong and Jiu Jiu!!! And Happy Children's Day too!!!

1 Oct is Children's Day. Here's a Happy Happy Day to me and all the kids in the world. It is also a special day for my Great Grandpa (Great Gong Gong) and my fave Jiu Jiu as they celebrate the birthdays on 1 Oct at Great Gong Gong's house.

See the yummy mango cake that Momi bought? She tried to entice me with the cake to get me to call "Gong Gong", but unfortnately it did not work.

There were 4 older boys and 2 teenagers at Great Gong Gong's place. Momi said I must call them Jiu Jius too as they are her little cousins. Haha!!! The term freaked them out. :p Anyway, they love playing with me as I am the baby mah. I ran and played with them and tripped over my toes at one point. Aiyah! Got cry a bit because of the shock from the fall. I did not bump my head lah. :p

There were so many adults and kids around and I relished in the company of such a crowd. I was not shy lah, but I refused to be carried by those new faces. I would sayang my Great Gong Gong's face (because he is the birthday man mah!!!) but I refused to be carried by him. Notti notti baby.

Those Jiu Jius very funny now. All didn't want to sing the birthday songs loud loud. Only my Momi sang loudly with me clapping my hands along with the songs. Nevermind, Great Gong-Gong. I will sing loudly at your next birthday celebration ok? Great Gong-gong blowing out the candle on the cake with help from the Jius Jius. Where am I??? Norh!!! I'm already getting ready for a big slice of the birthday cake... (Hee! That's me holding onto the paper plates lor. :p)
