Z is for Zoo!!!

Happy Happy Holidays!!! Dadi and Momi took leave on 26 Dec to bring me to the Zoo!!! Yeah! We decided to take 2 buses (Sengkang-AMK-Zoo) due to the recent hike in taxi fares. Momi said the few extra bucks could be put to better use, like buy a toy for me? Anyway, I love bus rides so I have absolutely no objections to that. :p

The bus to the Zoo was jammed packed with people. It seemed that the whole world was going to the Zoo. Luckily Momi and I managed to plonked down on this seat. Poor Dadi had to stand and sway all the way to the Zoo.

How could we resist animal rides, especially when they were guai guai waiting for us at the Zoo entrance???

Momi and I squashing the Croc... but it still put up a brave (and fercious) look despite we were heaping our body weight on it... Geez...

Dadi told me to act cute for this above shot. From my gesturing and facial expression, you could tell that I was not ready to oblige him. Momi??? Aiyah, that ding-dong gal did the V-sign lor... Tsk tsk... Haha!!! The 2 of us spoiled the picture leh. The family of elephants must hate us for spoiling the shot.

I rode on the back of the rhino by myself leh! Momi told me to say "Oh!!!!" and that was how this shot came about. :p

When we got to the otters' home, Dadi wanted me to pose with that otter family under the tree, but I decided to give a hearty handshake to this little fella here cos it had to stand there the whole day to direct visitors to the Tram station. So poor thing leh...

After visiting little joey at the kangaroo pen, we saw this abandoned jeep. Dadi placed me inside for a quick shot cos there was one big family of 3 adults, 2 teenages and 2 kids waiting to go up for a group photo and "pun-chek" its tyres with their total weight lor...

A majestic-looking white tiger... only managed to catch this big cat during the visit. I was fussy and tired towards the end of the trip and did not visit the rest of the cat family. Never mind, there's always next time.

Haha, when Momi and I saw the above animal, we just went "Monkey!! Monkey!!!". Dadi was disgusted and corrected us that these animals are "primates". :p

Penguins! I saw them at the Splash Safari and promptly called out "Qi Er Bao Bei (Baby Penguins)!!! Happy Feet!!!"

Splashing good performance put up by the sea lion. The best part was when the sea lion swam next the audience and did a few splashes and turns to cool the audience down a bit. Muahaha!!! My Dadi knew it would happen and chose us higher seats, away from the pool.

Went into the fragile rainforest and caught a glimpse of the shy shy mousedeer. Lucky!!! :)

Having fun at the playground. Skipped the water play this time cos Dadi din want me to get wet.

I love the swing so much!! Although the instruction panel stated for kids 2 years and below, Dadi and Momi were not shy about plonking me inside this swing as they found it safer than the normal swing. I love Dadi to swing me as he would swing me real high. Whoa whee!!!!

As usual, KO after all the fun activities....

Till the next visit, folks!!! Adieu!!!

Jingle Bellsx2, Jingle all the way!!!

The Childcare Centre arranged for us to go carolling in Momi's office on 17 Dec 07 and get donations from the adults to give to AWWA Special School. All of us were dressed in our Santa hats and reindeer antlers for the carolling session. Check out some of our pictures.

Mad house preparation to get us kids ready to move off. Put up your hat!!! Where are my slippers??? Ramerez, wait for me!!!

Haha!!! Lucas preparing for the carolling too. See the cheeky look on his face? He refused to tuck in his shirt, preferring to be an "Ah Beng" reindeer. :p

Cute Esher dressing up as a reindeer. See her huge donation box? It is half her size leh. Must be tough lugging that around. Phew!!! Am I glad I dun have to lug this.

Line up, Line up!!! Choo-choo train quick!!! Put your hands on your friend's shoulders!!!

Haha!!! Look at our blur blur and sian-sian look....

More waiting when we reached Momi's office.... Looking at the gaping mouths on the faces of the older kids.

Me and my buddy...

My buddies - Jovan and Esher, dressing up as reindeers. We are all waiting for our cue from the guitarist to belt out "Jingle Bells".

Boring boring!!! I started to whine and asked for Momi le!!! Can we sing "ABC" Song instead???

Yeah!!! Our special treat after the carolling- Chocolate-covered marshmallows straight from the chocolate fondue. How come the girls so "yew siew" one, dun want to tuck into the marshmallow???

Hee hee!!! Greedy piggy with chocolate-stained lips. Yummy, lip-smacking good!!!

Happy Hatch Day, Lucas

Jovan and I were invited to Lucas' birthday celebration on 23 Dec.

Before the makan, of course must have some play first. We went to the little indoor playground after our swim to work out a hearty appetite for the buffet lunch and birthday cake which we are going to have later.

Food and chaos (associated with the crowd) !!!

Do we look like F4 here? L with the brooding look, J will the refined smile, RH with the bo-chap expression and me with the "I'm so cute" pose... Girls!!! Prepare to drop dead lah!

What a Bunch of Cheekie Monkies!!!

My buddies here - Pouty Shameer, Cheeky Atticus and Sweet Choelle.
(The one behind ah?? Not my class one. From Nursery Class. Intruder!!!)

The usual water parade time. We all have our own bottles, except for Lynn-lynn. She drinks from a cup and she dun look pleased in this picture. Muahaha!!!

Do I get a prize for being the first to finish all the water in my water bottle huh?!

I'm a Big Boy Now!!!

I'm a big boy!!! I'm a tough guy!!! Guess what?! I am officially off the diapers at the night and weaned off the milk bottle. Hee! All this happened coincidentally lah. We slept over at Nai Nai's place last Sat night and we ran out of diapers. Momi and Dadi decided to put me off the diapers lor. Of course, to play safe, Momi woke me up 2 times in the night so that I could go pee-pee. Better than risk wetting the bed mah.

As I took a late and heavy dinner on Sat night, I skipped by night feed. The next morning, I was contented to have hotcakes for breakfast and did not request for my milk either. All was fine until the afternoon when I wanted my milk. Hey!!! No milk bottle leh!!! How huh?! Drink from cup lor, with a straw lor. I took to it quite well and since then, I have been off the milk bottle.

So far so good. Momi said I will be moving up to PN2 next year and turning 3 in Jan 08. It is high time I wean off the milk bottle and the diaper. Hee!!! Dadi ordered a brand new Seahorse Queen-sized mattress for me leh. It is coming on 22 Dec 07. Momi said she is going to get a mattress protector, just in case. :)
