Sniffles Sniffles... I'm Sick...

Hi Hi. Dadi & Momi brought me over to Ye Ye's house on Mon nite and found out that Nai Nai was sick. Poor Ye Ye and Nai Nai had been sick since they came back from Jakarta a week ago. Dadi said it could be due to "not agreeable to water & earth" (Shui Tu Bu Fu), that's why they have been sick since then...

Anyway, Momi took leave on Tue so that Nai Nai could rest while she took care of me. However, my silly Momi left the fan spinning after mopping the floor on Tue afternoon, while I was sleeping and I caught a chill. I started sneezing and then my nose started leaking after I got up from my afternoon nap. It got worse on Wed morning and Dadi and Momi brought me to Dr Chee. Boy, the medication was fantastic!!! Very effective and very expensive ah!!! My leaky tap was repaired after one dose of medication, but my sneezing was still on-and-off. Despite my runny nose, I was still pretty active during these two days. Yah, sick but still can play and make a lot of noise in the house.

I was a terror when it comes to medication time. The moment I heard "Chi Yao" (eat medicine) from Momi, I would scream "Bu Yao" and ran away to hide. Wed night, Dadi and Momi pinned me down and forced the medicine into my mouth through a syringe. By the time the 2nd type of medicine was forced down my throat, I gagged and threw up my milk... all over Momi and myself and onto the floor and mattress. What a mess!!! A howling baby, dirty floor and yucky stuff... Momi told Dadi that forced feeding would not work on me and Dadi compromised by mixing the types of medication into my milk.... I could still taste the yucky medicine in the milk (120ml only leh) and I simply refused to gulp it down. After much coaxing, I only managed to take in 60ml. Yeh! I was that difficult. Better still, I snored when I slept cos my nose was blocked. Haha!!! It was quite a fantastic sing-song tune. : )

Momi was reminded of her younger days where my DJJ did the same thing to her. He gagged and threw up his dinner and medication during the night and she had to standby a basin next to his bed and clean up the mess made by my sick DJJ everytime he took his medicine, especially if there are pills to swallow. Somehow, he just couldn't swallow the pills as a whole and my Momi had to crush his pills to make it easier for him to swallow... Poor Momi.

My X'mas Presents (Part 1)

I had a fantastic X'mas this year as I got to rip open more presents this year. Here are some of my presents.

That's me working on the wrapper. Hmmm... looks like a toy vehicle....

Hey!!! It is a long truck, loaded with X'mas chocolates!!! Hmmm, how do I remove the plastic casing around it?

Momi's little X'mas gift. Eeyore and a X'mas M&M figurine filled with mini M&Ms. Sigh, can see and play with, but cannot eat again.

I would conveniently drop the "Seng" unless prompted by Momi or Dadi. Keke!!! I confirm going to be an Ah Beng next time. Yum Seng!!!

Out at Orchard Road to See the X'mas Lightings

Momi and Dadi brought me to Orchard Road to see the X'mas lights. Actually hor, also nothing really fantastic about the lights. I am more interested in the fountains and water features along Orchard Road, such as the water fountains outside and inside Takashimaya and the 4 coloured X'mas Tree fountains at the junction in front of the Heeren. The best part was to be able to spend time with Momi and Dadi. Of course, Dadi had his well-deserved spa treat while Momi and I checked out the departmental store at Takashimaya.

Chilling out at TCC. While Dadi and Momi la-kopi/ la-teh, I had my milk and waited for my cheesecake....

Why is my cheesecake taking so long? The little prince is hungry leh.

Momi and I posing for a shot in front of Taka. I love the fountain behind us and tried to get nearer to the water spouts.

Momi teaching me how to swim breaststroke in front of the fountain.

Posing with Dadi with the Paragon X'mas Tree in the background.

That's Me in My Bubble Romper

Hiak Hiak!!! The bubble skirt has been in fashion for awhile and now, there is bubbly romper for babies. Actually hor, this romper was a gift from dearest Po Po when I turned one month old. The size was too big and it was put aside for awhile until recently, when Momi came across it in my drawer. Imagine!!! It was already tailored a year ago before the bubble skirt craze started!!! It is funnily cute with a picture of a mouse eating a slice of watermelon. Another piece of watermelon was also sew at the back of the romper. Too bad no pictures of my back to show ya. Hee! Anyway, enjoy these shots!!!

My First X'mas Present

Momi stepped into the office this morning and found her second X'mas present and my first X'mas present on her table. They were a pair of Paul Frank watches - pink for Momi and blue for me!!! Haha!!! At first, Momi told they were for Dadi and her, but the design was a bit too kiddy for Dadi. The watches were from Auntie Nicole and she said the watch was for me so that Momi and I could wear Mu-Zi (Mother & Son) watches when we go out. Auntie Nicole was so observant cos she noticed that Momi had a Paul Frank jacket so she got the watches for her.

Hi, Auntie Nicole. Here's a big THANK YOU to you for giving me the nice nice watch. Got my favourite monkey on it some more. :) I will thank you with a wet sloppery kiss when I see you again, ok?

The rest of the watches given to the aunties and uncles in Momi's office. Spiderman watches for Uncle Derrick and Uncle Aliff. Green Paul Frank for cheeky monkey Uncle Lyon. Cheery rainbow watch for Uncle HK and sweet pink with hearts watch for Auntie Sharon. Hahaha!!! So colourful. Auntie Nicole very hao se ah!!!

Happy Wedding Anniversary, Momi & Dadi!!!

Today is Momi & Dadi's third wedding anniversary!!! Happy anniversary!!! May Momi & Dadi be in love forever and ever and ever and ever... to infinity!!! I Love you!!!!

Ramerez, the Reindeer

Christmas is approaching. Yeah yeah!!! I've also started dressing up like a reindeer with the antlers headband that Dadi got from Burger King when he purchased a kid's meal for Momi. When I left the BK outlet with my antlers, I heard so many people commenting that I looked so cute. Well, I hate to be such a show-off, but I must admit that I am cute, even without the antlers!!! Hahaha!!! Yah, I not shy one. :p

My hair is too smooth and the antlers kept slipping off. Momi came up with the strategy of making me wear my cap, then the antlers so that it would not slip off. Momi is so smart!!!

Cheeky reindeer Ramerez?

Elliot Gor-Gor and Me

Momi is clearing stock again!!! Here are some pictures of Elliot Gor-Gor and me taken during the Deepavali gathering. Yeap, that long ago.... >_<

The boys posing for photo together. U can tell who is trying to wriggle his way out?

A candid shot. Elliot was playing with the tambourine.

Haha!!! Funny Elliot Gor-Gor trying to do the traditional Maori war dance. So fierce, I'm scared. Muahaha!!!

This Elliot Gor-Gor is as good as me at acting cute. : )

Potty Training

Dadi and Momi started putting me on the potty since last Thursday when they saw my expression that I am going to poo poo. Hey hey, that was the first time I saw Momi and Dadi working with the speed of the lightning, siah. Dadi quickly took off my shorts and diapers while Momi dashed for my potty. Haha!!! These two worked in fantastic partnership....

Sneaking Dadi creeping up from behind with a camera. I was busy concentrating on my erh-erh, while being entertained by the TV...

*Shocked look* What the....!!!! What are you doing with the camera!!!! U paparazzi!!!! Invasion of privacy!!! Can't I do my business in peace???

Hee hee!!! U cannot see anything anyway!!! Muahahaha!!!!

U want me to smile at the camera? Here you are. Cheeze!!! (Hiak Hiak!!! You can't see anything anyway. So I flashed my mega-watt smile!!!)

Lunch at Sakae Sushi

Momi brought me out on Sunday morning for my daily gai-gai with the eye patch on. When it was time for lunch, she asked me if I wanted to have sushi (actually hor, she was the one with the craving). Sushi Sushi... that sounded nice and I just repeated "Sushi" after her and she literally took it that I wanted to eat sushi.... -_-

Anyway, she was very clever leh. She called Dadi to come out and join us for lunch and ended up got Dadi to pay for our meal. Haha!!! Poor Dadi didn't eat much as he had quite a heavy breakfast and ended up paying for the whole meal. :p

Momi had her craving for the sea urchin sushi and order 2 pieces ... but the sushi caused her to have diarrhea later in the day... Luckily for me, I had all the cooked stuff like tamago sushi, tamago handroll and yaki-soba. The yaki-soba was really "yucky" cos it was over-cooked and soggy and was served with a funny-tasting sauce. Momi and Dadi decided that it would be the first and last time that they would order yaki-soba or anything with yaki in it as the sauce was not to their tastebuds. As for me... well... my verdict was clear. I took only a few bites of the noodles although I can usually finish a small bowl of noodles on my own. Well, that was evident enough to show how much I like the yaki-soba... Keke!!!

XJJ is Back!!!

Yipee!!! My Xiao Jiu Jiu has returned to Singapore this afternoon!!! His flight touched down at Changi Airport in the afternoon and Da Jiu Jiu had gone to pick him up. Too bad Momi had to attend a Team-Building Session on Sentosa and we could not go down to the airport to pick him up.

I have not seen him for more than six months. In fact, sometimes I tend to forgot I have another Jiu Jiu. :) Yah, I am an ungrateful little fella. XJJ bought me 2 sets of the Incredibles clothes (one Jack-Jack and one Dash) when he and Xiao Jin Jie Jie went to the USA Disneyland. I have been wearing them, but I also thought that the clothes were from my Da Jiu Jiu. Hee hee!!! Seems I have to learn how to distinguish my DJJ and XJJ.

Come come. I do a fashion parade for you. :)

This is the Baby Jack-Jack set. My Nai Nai hates it cos the evil BB Jack-Jack bares his teeth. But I like!!! Very fierce and Beng-looking. Hiak Hiak!!!

You like my pose? Look professional hah, shoulders slumping and pressing back. Got the seh right? Cool, man!!!

This one is the Dash set, very loud orange colour. Check out my pose again. : )

Ehhhh!!! What are u looking at? Never see little beng relak relak before ah???

Well, we would be meeting up for a pre-X'mas lunch gathering this coming Saturday. Xiao Jin Jie Jie is included as she is long considered to be a member of the family soon. Hmmm... when can I start calling her "Auntie" leh?

Ye Ye and Nai Nai Are Flying Off Again

Hmmph!!! Ye Ye and Nai Nai are flying off on 7 Dec 06 to Jakarta to attend Auntie Yati's wedding and they would be staying there for a week until 14 Dec 06. We are also invited to the wedding but Momi and Dadi could not afford to enjoy such a long break in Dec. They have to take turns to clear a few days leave to take care of me while Ye Ye and Nai Nai are away.

Momi and Dadi are ambitious. They are planning to potty-train me during this week since I am coming to 2 years now. Momi even bought me a new blue potty because she could not find the red potty at Nai Nai's place. Hee! My two potties are nothing fanciful. They are the usual round, plastic tam-pui, not exquisite patterns or prints and certainly, no music when I sit in them to try to poo poo. Dadi actually commented before that it was kinda silly to have those musical potties. What if I grew reliant on the music and no music no poo poo leh??? *scratch head*

Momi is also actively looking for the potty-training toilet seats to put at our own place and Nai Nai's place. I have a strong feeling that they would become my X'mas presents..... >_<

M for MO!!!

M is for "MO" !!! DynaMO, ElMO, KodoMO, NeMO!!! Whenever I sees these 4 things/toys, I would squeal "MO MO" !!! Muahahaha!!! But recently, I have been able to distinguish Elmo and Nemo by calling them correctly. I would even say bye-bye to Nemo before I go to bed. :)

Fireman Ramerez

Hi, folks.

Dadi and Momi brought me down to VivioCity this afternoon. The place was great and extremely crowded. There were a lot of water features and a fantastic rooftop playground for kids. Unfortunately, Dadi and Momi did not allow me to get down to play with the water. As for the playground, I was only allowed to play for a short while under Dadi's close supervision as there were many big kids running around and playing rough. I did not really get to enjoy myself fully due to the crowd....hmmm....I hope Momi and Dadi would bring me there again when the playground is less crowded so that I can play and enjoy myself. :)

When we got back to Sengkang, there was a SCDF roadshow. Momi brought me inside and got me a fireman hat. Hahaha!!! Momi calls me her "brave little fireman". Care to catch the brave Fireman Ramerez in action? Well, here you are!!!

Fireman Ramerez making a dash for his rocking "fire engine" with his fiery red helmet in hand. All ready for action!!!

Helmet on! Mode of transport ready!!! Gee-dee up!!!

Huh?! Like this cannot meh? I thot I look quite cool? U dun like my horse?? Too slow to respond to fire scene? Ok ok!!! I will got to Ye Ye's place to get my cool red fire engine, ok?

Soft Toys Drying on the Bamboo Poles

Nai Nai washed my soft toys and hung them on the bamboo poles to dry. Momi thought they looked cute hanging there and took some pictures.

Here's the dog and monkey tag team.

Here's presenting the Bear family.

Loads of LRT Rides and Shopping With Our Eyes

Momi is running out of ideas to make me keep my eye patch on. I would peel it off at the very first available opportunity. She figured that one way would be to bring me out to the playground or go gai-gai to distract me because the moment I get back into the house, I would immediately peel off the eye patch. Poor Momi! She had to bring me out over the last weekend and walk around for at least one to two hours, just to get my eye patched.

On Sat, Momi brought me shopping (with her eyes cos she could not go into the fitting room with me and my pram :p) in compasspoint for a good 2 hours on Sat. Of course, I also get to shop with my eyes as I could indicate to Momi what I wanted, but she would not pay for them. On Sun late afternoon, I was treated to 3 rides on the LRT loops in Sengkang, followed by more shopping with the eyes and then da-bao lunch. On Sun evening, I went gai-gai in the nearby parks and even went to the bus stop to count the buses!!! Haha!!! I would protest when I was not allowed to board the buses. Well, Momi just promised me that she would bring me for bus rides next time... Hmmm...Looks like Momi would really bring me for bus rides next weekend to Woodlands cos she checked out the bus routes liao. : )

Welcome to My Upgraded Blog!!!

Hi, folks. Momi decided to give my blog a new facelift. How do you like it? She finds it easier to post my updates and photos. The earlier version was creating some problems when she tried to upload pictures. Yah lor, that's why so long no yan-dao photos to show you... hiak hiak!!! Anyway, enjoy these wordy text updates first. The pictures are coming soon... (I hope...)

My First Visit to the Zoo

The initial plan was Dadi, Momi, Gong Gong, Po Po and I go to the Zoo together on Sun. However, Dadi's knee still hurts and Momi got Jiu Jiu to come along for the trip. Poor Jiu Jiu, who helped out at a friend's wedding on Sat, had to wake up early early on Sun to bring us to the Zoo. Momi had originally wanted to cancel the trip but she was afraid to disappoint Po Po and Gong Gong cos it is their first Zoo outing with me mah. Plus, I am so noisy and naughty in the house that Dadi could not rest properly... Sheesh, ended up she decided to bring me to the zoo and to patch my eye during the trip, hopefully I would be distracted by the sights and happenings and do not peel off the eye patch.

Well, I do like the zoo. Hmmm... not that keen in the animals lah. Momi and Jiu Jiu pointed out all sorts of animals, especially the monkeys and orangutans, along the way, but I hardly paid much attention. They were all high up in the trees and my neck grew achy from lifting up my head and trying to catch them in action leh. I was, in fact, more excited with the crowd and large open spaces for me to run about. It was a right move to ask Jiu Jiu along cos he was literally chasing me around. Hiak hiak!!! I love the tram rides and train rides as I would sit quietly and take in the sights along the way. I also love the wading pool at the children's playland but too bad, Momi did not bring my swimming wear and I could only play in the pool for a short 5-10 mins as it was windy and I was getting soaking wet. Of course, Momi also got wet as she waddled into the water with me, with her jeans folded up to the knees (like an auntie). Oh, I also love the swings and slides at the playground. I even attempted to swing myself on the swing.

We also visit the children's animal land where we took the choo-choo train ride. The place was pretty run down with some pathetic animals. There were some ugly black pigs with lots of wrinkles on their bodies and they smelt bad. In fact, the whole place smelt bad. The only creatures which I like were the horses, mini horses and ponies. Momi told Jiu Jiu not to bring me near to the fencing as she did not want me to touch the animals nor the fencing. There was a wading pool there as well, but it was poorly maintained and the water channels were littered with leaves and overgrown with algae. There were only 2 kids playing with the water. Jiu Jiu brought to see the hamsters, mice and chicks. Hee hee! I took the opportunity to teach my Jiu Jiu the letter "M" when I saw the word "MOUSE" on the display. We also saw the naked Mole-Rat and Momi developed the goosebumps as she could not tahan the sight of the mole-rat which has only a thin layer of fur and looks obsenely ugly and naked. Muahahaha!!!

We went for the animal show and the elephant shows, but I could sit still for the show. I was up and running and disturbing the people around. Momi had to pluck me up and bring me outside for a walk. Well, I ran and tripped on the wooden walkway outside the elephant show theatre and had a small cut in my upper lip. Of course got cry a bit lah, but Momi said I deserved it cos I ran. Hmmm... I do have a pouty upper lip for the rest of the day.

We went to see the polar bear during the token feeding time. I was enthralled by the big water tank and had fun tapping on the glass, just to get the attention of Inuka, the big white polar bear. Of course, I also helped myself to Inuka's toys which were on display. I like this toy which consists of 3 plastic balls linked up together. I also like Inuka's icy cold dessert, which consists of fruits frozen into a big ice cube. Cool!!! Wish Momi would serve me something like that!!! The waiting time was long and before Inuka and his Momi got their yummy feedings, I had already fallen asleep. I slept through the 20 minutes introduction feeding and woke up only when everyone started clapping at the end. Shoots! This justifys another visit to the zoo yah?

The animal which really got me interested was the rare white tiger. When I saw the 3 tigers, I told Gong Gong and Po Po "mao" (meaning cat) and I meowed aloud. Momi laughed at me and told me that they were big cats and they roared. Momi imitated a roar and brought me to a console which had several buttons. When pressed, each button would give out different types of sounds made by the tigers, such as purring, growling and roaring. I had a great time punching on these buttons. :)

Well, the trip had been pretty fun and it certainly beats the Jurong Bird Park (Yeah! Momi brought a group of Senior Citizens for JBP outing and she affirmed that she would rather bring me to the Zoo than to the Bird Park). If we do go again, Momi would make sure that I have my swim wear so that I could play long in the wading pool.

Photos?! Well, scatterbrain Momi forgot to bring the camera. Shoots! Wait for my next Zoo trip, ok? Ciao!!!

Ma-Mee Yah!!!

Since Thursday afternoon, I have been calling Momi by a super endearing "Ma-Mee Yah!" instead of the usual "Ma-Mee". Strange, but I only add the "yah" for Momi and no one else. Momi found it very cute in the beginning but got irritated with it by Saturday. She tried to correct me back to "Ma-Mee". She has also been training to teach me to say "Sorry" but not very successful. I would simply put my clenched fists to my cheeks to give the sorry look.

Nai Nai was telling me to call her by prompting me "Jiao Wo" in mandarin. Being the cheeky monkey, I obliged her by howling "Wo! Wo! Wo" instead of "Nai Nai". Muahaha!!! So naughty. BTW, I can say "Bye Bye" now. Hee!!! :)

Monkey See, Monkey Do

Cheeky Monkey has been quite naughty nowadays. :)
Other than imitating Momi in pain by making the "AW AW AW" when she goes "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch", I have been clowning around quite a bit in the house. For instance, I saw Momi pretending to ride a bicycle and I would copycat and pretend to pedal hard on my invisible bike too. Everytime Momi says "Bicycle, Cling Cling!!!", I would move my legs fast and furious, ma-chiam going for cross-country cycling competition.

When Momi asks me to cry, I would put my fingers to my eyes and pretend that there are tears from my eyes while making that "Wee Wee Wee" crying sound. If Momi asks if Teddy is crying, I would put my fingers to Teddy's eyes and make it cry the same way I did. :p

When I am naughty, Momi would order me to face the wall and tell me to "Ji Leng Tie Qiang Bi!!!" (i.e. stick to the wall like a lizard). Ho ho ho!!! I like to do this and I would duly put my palms on the wall and plaster my cheek to the wall like a lizard. How did I know how to tie qiang bi like a Ji Leng??? Learnt from my creative Momi lah. She demo to me mah!!! So, monkey see, monkey do lor!!!! This Ji Leng Sheng Gong has replaced my previous Hai Dai Quen. Nowadays I hardly do my Hai Dai Quen.

Oh, BTW, I am picking up new vocabulary fast. Other than the vomitting sound "Whey Whey!!!" which I picked up from Momi, Dadi and Nai Nai, I have also picked up "Pui!!!" from Momi. Yah yah!!! These sounds are a lot more easy to master and I simply love seeing the shocked expressions on the adults' faces. Keke!!! I overheard Momi telling Dadi that she is going to be mindful of what she says in front of me now. :)

What had happened in the past 2 weeks

Loads of stuff happened in the past two weeks. Ye Ye's house is finally done with the renovation for the kitchen and the toilet. Nai Nai had not been patching my left eye for the past 3 weeks and I have become very resistent about the eye patch. I would peel it off on my own.

Momi dearest had a bad fall last monday. She hurted her tailbone (2nd time injury) and was on 4 days MC. Nai Nai bathed me during the weekdays while Dadi took over on the weekends. Momi tried to minimise carrying me and bathing me to avoid straining her lower back. She tried to patch my eye on Thur evening but I struggled too much and she aggravated the injury. Yah, I was one naughty baby. Whenever she tossed and turned in the bed and went "Ouch, Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!!!", I would also copycat and went "Aw, Aw, Aw, Aw". An unsympathetic little fella, you say?

I had been such an entertainer to the adults in the past few weeks. First, my pool of vocabulary has improved, although I still baby-talked quite a bit. Here's the list:
Day-Dee - Dadi
Ma-Mee - Momi
Nai-Nai - Nai Nai
Ye-Ye Ye Ye Ye... - Ye Ye (I don't stop at two. :p)
Jiew-Jiew - Jiu Jiu
Gong-Gong - Gong Gong
Po-Po - Po Po
A-PLE - Apple
Na-Na - Banana (Haha!!! Yah, it's no more Mao Mao!!! Momi was very relieved. :p)
Plee - Please
Tan-kew - Thank you
Xie-Xie -Thank you (mandarin)
Zhan Xixi - dirty
Bu-Yao - No
Mai - No (Teochew)
May - Quick (Teochew)
Bao - Bun, bread, carry
Xia - Go down
Ku-Ku - shorts and trousers
Sock
Go Out

Sea Shell
Book
Pig
Zhu zhu - pig (mandarin)
Beh Beh - blanket
Puan - bolster
Man - Superman or Spiderman
Meow - Cat (imitating the sound made by cat)
WOff WOff - Dog (imitating the cound made by dog)
Ma - Horse, Zebra
Ehhh - Elephant (imitating the sound made by elephant)
Vroom Vroom - general all modes of transport on the road
Ga-Ga - Wooden monitor lizard in the balcony, anything ugly and scary, cockroach
Bi - Ribena
O-PHEN - Open

My favourite letters are "C", "O", "M" and "W". I can pronounce the first 3 letters, but everytime I sees "W", I would say "M". "M" is my favourite letter cos it stands for "McDonald's". Hiak hiak!!!!

When Momi was at home on MC, she would disturb me by getting me to call her "Ma-Mee" cos she finds it so endearing to hear it from my mouth. Dadi?? Dadi was happy to hear me finally calling him but he said the way I called him was too "dia", too "manja". You adults so troublesome... tsk tsk. Dun call you, you worry. Call you, you said I too "dia"... Enjoy my "manja"-ness now cos I will outgrow this phase soon. : )

I have taken some pictures over the past 2 weeks but Momi has no time to upload. Hopes she finds the time to do it soon. BTW, I would be paying a visit to Dr Ganga this Thur. See what he has to say this time. We would also be going to the Zoo this coming Sun, together with Gong Gong and Po Po. We would take loads of pictures and show you ok? Boy, so exciting!!! My first trip to the Zoo!!! Can't wait for Sun to arrive. I would get to see "Ma Ma" (Horse and Zebra) and "Ehhhh" (Elephant) and HIPPOPOTAMUS!!! I always laughs at Momi when she says the word HIPPOPOTAMUS cos it sounds funny. : )

Mr Smelly Feet

Haha!!! Paiseh Paiseh huh, but this update was decided by Momi dearest, not me hor. She cannot understand why Nai Nai allows me to wear shoes without socks. First thing, she thinks that I look like an lau ah pek (old man) when I wear my shoes without socks. Secondly, without socks to absorb my perspiration, my feet would be smelly if I wear the shoes for too long. Like Monday lah, Momi took off my shoes and detected an unpleasant smell. She called me "Smelly Feet" and ordered Dadi to bring a basin of water and my bottle of shower gel to wash my feet in the room. I was treated like an "Ah Xia Gia" with my maid washing my feet before bedtime. Of course, I got naughty and kicked my feet in the water and ended up making the floor wet lah. Of course, my shoes also found their way into the bucket where Momi gave them a good wash and scrub to remove the unpleasant smell. They are now having a nice tan from Mr Sun at the window. :)

Sigh, now I have all sorts of unglam nicknames. Frankly speaking, what is the big deal about "Mr Smelly Feet". I have heard of babies with nicknames that are worst, such as "Smelly Fart".... Ho ho ho!!! Compared to that, "Smelly Feet" is not that bad lah. As Momi currently controls the access to my blog, she can update anything she wants. Nevermind, when I can update my own blog, I will delete this update away...

Momi's Bad Hair Day...Everyday

Hiak hiak. Momi went for a haircut at the newly open JY hairdressing/ slimming/ beauty centre at Seng Kang. She decided to have her hair cut there cos her regular hairstylist - Auntie Jo has gone back to Malaysia. She decided to give JY a try cos it offered the cheapest haircut in the entire mall... but, it was a wrong choice cos the stylist cut her hair until very very short. Now, even Dadi's hair is longer than hers. Tsk tsk...

Anyway, Dadi kept poking fun at her, saying that she's got a boy-boy cut and spent so much money some more. Dadi said Momi should have used my hairclipper to do the hair job FOC... hiak hiak... Dadi laughed at Momi's hair and I smacked him on the tummy. Poor Momi, I can understand and empathise with you cos I always kena bad hair job from Dadi (with Momi as the accomplice lah). Nevermind, cos the hair will grow back quickly. It just that now I cannot pull your hair and stomp my feet on your hair when you put your head on the pillow cos it is way too short liao. Hee hee!!!

(Momi said: "Hair too short and ugly. No face to place my photos in Rara's blog. You will see my pictures when hair is longer. :p)

Happening Monday

The contractor didn't come in today and Nai Nai decided to bring me out to gai gai. First, we went to the Airport to send off an auntie to Indonesia, then to Lisa Jie-Jie's house for lunch and play play play!!!

I was thrilled of course, as that would mean I would get my bus ride as there is a direct bus service from Nai Nai's house to the airport. Yipee!!! As usual, the moment I got to the Airport, I went amok by running all over the place. Of course, I also remembered to pop by to say "hi" to my old friend - Ronald McDonalds and gave him a big hug. It was fun as Nai Nai and the other relatives played catching with me in the airport. :P

When I went over to Lisa Jie-Jie's house in the afternoon, the 2 of us had so much fun playing with her new toys. Lisa Jie-jie would talk to me and I would respond to her with my baby-talk. I had so much fun that I forgot all about my afternoon nap.

When Ye Ye came over to fetch us home after dinner, I was so tired that I slept in the car on the way back. The moment Momi carried me into her arms, I woke up and gave her the blur look cos still groggy from sleep mah. I was tucked into bed after my milk but I didn't really sleep well because of all the fun and excitement that I had in the day. Yah, I "han bin" (had nightmares) and woke up several times in the night, crying very loudly and insisted that I wanted this and wanted that lah. Want the air-con lah, want to be carried lah, want to go out of the bedroom lah...all in a semi-conscious state. Momi and Dadi tried all ways and means to pacify. The worst happened when my diaper leaked and I wetted on myself and Momi. I literally screamed when Momi stripped off my diapers and pants. I was tearing the place down with my wailing. When my cries alerted Nai Nai, Momi was more than relieved to let her take over and bring me to her room to sleep cos she could finally catch a little sleep as it was around 4am in the morning. :p

Yah lor, too much excitement in the day and that caused my nightmares in the night. Dadi is now contemplating if he should bring me to the Zoo cos he is afraid that I would have nightmares after the trip. Hee! Momi said never mind as we are going to Zoo on Sat. If I have nightmares on Sat night, we would sleep late on Sun morning. Yipee!!! Yipee!!! Can't wait to go to the Zoo!!!

B for "Mao Mao"

Momi and I were flipping through my picture books on Sat night. We came across a fruit bowl and she pointed to a banana and asked me "What is this?". I told her "Mao Mao". She didn't quite catch it and asked me what was it again and I told her "Mao Mao". I could see her face contorted as she tried to stifle a giggle while trying to correct me by saying "No, darling. It is a banana. Say BA-NA-NA." But I was one stubborn little fella. I told her "Mao Mao" again. Momi wanted to laugh out loud as she found it funny. She tried to get me to repeat "Mao Mao" to Dadi but I was angry with her for correcting me. Now, what's wrong with "Mao Mao"????

The next day, Momi bought me a bunch of bananas and as usual, I pointed to it and said "Mao Mao" again. She kept correcting me and it made me so mad that I refused to say even "Mao Mao" after that. Momi, you are hurting my self-esteem by making fun of me leh... :(

Of course, when we went back to Nai Nai's place, Momi updated Nai Nai on the episodes where I said "Mao Mao" for banana. Nai Nai was puzzled and said she never taught me that. Well, in actual fact, I used to say "Na Na" for banana. Hmmmm... now, who could have taught me that or was it self-taught??? Hmmmm, I shall not tell you yet. Wahahahaha!!!!

Nobody wants to help me. Hmmmph!!! I wear the sandals myself...

Having Fun At the Playground

Having fun crawling in the tunnel under Momi and Dadi's watchful eyes and camera. :p

Crossing the wobbly bridge and climbing up and down.

My Special Scale

Hi, folks. I tried to smuggle myself among the suitcases on the conveyor belt at Changi Airport check-in counter so that I could fly to Jakarta with my dearest Nai-Nai... Anyway, the plan failed and I was caught in this picture.... Tsk Tsk... didn't get a free ride on the flight but got to weigh myself on the conveyor belt. Hmmm 10.6 kg only??? Surely I weigh more than that? The scale on the conveyor belt not accurate one.

Hei Bi and Hai Dai...

Notti Dadi decided to call me "Hei Bi" (meaning shrimp) after he saw me throwing a tantrum and twitching my own body while I was lying in the bed. He said the way I moved was comical and reminded him of a "Hei Bi". He imitated me and kept calling me "Hei Bi". I hated it and twitched more... ended up kena laughed at by Momi and Dadi...

What is "Hai Dai"??? It is actually "seaweed" lah. Sometimes, I would wave my hands in such a way that they look like seaweed caught in the swift tidal currents so Dadi and Momi call it my very own "Hai Dai Quen", a unique boxing which incoporates the swift (or rather, perculiar?) movement of the seaweed. Well, it is not to hurt anyone, but more to inject some laughters to those who see me practising my "Hai Dai Quen". Hai Dai, anyone?
