Playgroup At Ashton Gor-Gor's House

Auntie Sharon jio Momi to her place last Saturday morning for a toddlers playgroup session. Momi told me that other than Ashton Gor-Gor, there would also be three pretty little girls. She said it would be like a Lian Yi Hui for boys to befriend the girls. Keke!!! Of course I was excited lah!!! Got so many adults and kids to play with me!!!

But then hor, on that morning, I slept very late until 9.30am leh. That was because there was a heavy thunderstorm in the early morning at 1am and I was awaken by the loud thunder lor. That's why I slept longer in the morning and missed my favourite Hi-5 show. :p

When we took the bus to Auntie Sharon's place, sotong Momi missed the bus-stop cos she could not recognise the Punggol Plaza as we have never been there before. Waste time man!!! By the time we got to Ashton Gor-gor's place, it was around 11am and all the toddlers have started playing. Other than handsome Ashton Gor Gor, there were pretty Shayne Jie-Jie, sweety-pie Jolene Jie-Jie and sunshine Ainsley Mei-Mei.

Hee! When I say "playing", I mean playing with the toys scattered in the living room. None of the kids were actually playing with each other. I also sama sama play with the toys on my own, rather than interacting with the other kids.

Ashton Gor-gor was so nice! He shared all his toys with us, including his dog Baileys. Keke!!! I like the doggie best!!! When the dog came scampering towards us, Ainsley Mei-mei and I were so excited and we followed the doggie around and tried to touch it. We were not scared at all. In fact, we were squealing in delight to have the dog running around us.

Jolene Jie-Jie, Ashton Gor-gor and I also took turns to ride in his power Jeep. Whoa! Its engine was superb man!!! Very powerful!!! There was a time when the 3 of us tried to fit ourselves into the Jeep but our Mommies were quick to pluck us out of the Jeep as it allows only one person at one time. Hiak hiak!!!

Ashton Gor-gor and I playing with the stacko toy.

Nah. This picture shows us kids playing on our own. The little girl is Shayne Jie-Jie.

Introducing the Super Duper SUPER Family

Introducing the Super Duper SUPER Family!!!

Here's the SUPER Dadi!!! He is so very the handsome, strong and intelligent. He is always there for Momi and me. He is our pillar of support. We can always count on him.

Here is the SUPER Momi!!! She is so pretty, gentle and caring. She listens and caters to my every little need. Her kisses and hugs work magic by bringing sunshine to our lives. Her humour and wit bring endless cheer and laughter to our lives.

Here's introducing the youngest member in the SUPER Family. SUPER BABY!!!! Tadah!!!

Haha!!! So unglam hor!!! Why Momi and Dadi can post those glam shots and I dun have leh??? These few shots were taken when Cheeky SUPER Dadi put the hooded blanket over my head to serve like a cape. Notti Momi joined in the fun by calling me the SUPER Baby. That's how we started lor... Hey!!! Yoh, Momi!!! Can post some glam shots of me or not??? Like this not very SUPER Baby leh!!! Tsk tsk tsk!!!! Like all Super Heroes who have a icon on their torsos, I also have one on my round round tummy. See the cool sun with sunshades? Hiak hiak!!!

What is this???

What is this??? Momi was dressing me up for Uncle Derrick's wedding dinner at Sentosa, but realised that the neckline for my new shirt was too tight. It got stuck around my face. Help!!!! Momi called Dadi for help, but he ended up taking this horrible picture instead....tsk tsk tsk.... (Got an uglier one which Momi decided not to upload)...

He said I looked like a poor puppy in this picture... >_< ... wah wah!!!.... why my Dadi like that one....

It's Neng Neng Time!!!

It's neng neng time!!! See the sleepy look on my face? Yah, I am going to orh-orh soon, after I finish up the last drop of neng neng.

Nai nai and Momi dun carry me and feed me neng neng nowadays. They will prop me down on a pillow and hand me the bottle. They say I am a big boy liao, so must hold my own bottle. But I very smart one. If Momi touches my bottle, I would quickly let go and make her hold it for me. If she tries to put my hands back on the bottle, my mouth will release the teat and refuse the milk. Then, she boh-bian, must hold the bottle for me. Hee! Very lazy hor? Keke!!!

Such a Helpful, Little Darling Boy!!!

I have been such a good helper to Momi and Nai Nai around the house. I have observed Nai Nai and Momi doing their housework often enough to pick up some housekeeping tips.

Here's a list of tasks that I could do and you can image the amount of anxiety and fear that I impose on Momi dearest. Hiak hiak!!! : )

1) Hang around in the kitchen to help Momi and Nai Nai with the laundry. I will be busy passing them the clothes pegs to secure the damp laundry to the bamboo poles (freaking Momi out cos she's scared the bamboo poles drop and hit me...)
2) Take my little hanky and wipe the table top, cabinet and tv console
3) Put in the fresh laundry into the laundry basket (sometimes pull out the laundry instead lah!) (Momi's fear would be the basket topple and hit me instead...)
4) Pass the unpressed clothes to Momi when she's doing the ironing (freaking Momi out everytime I get near her cos she scared I would knock over the ironing board and hot iron...)
5) Help Nai Nai to pull out the vaccumn cleaner or iron before she even gets her hands on them
6) Help to pick up the phone/ handphone, put to my ear (for shiok shiok only) before handing it over to any adults
7) Mop the floor with my purple golf club (Momi said she would be giving me the magic mop to help mop the floor one of these days)
8) Go on all fours and my tummy during my tantrums and help "clean" the floor
9) Bring my dirty diapers to the kitchen and throw into the dustbin
10) Bring my dirty clothes to the bathroom in the kitchen and dump into the bucket
11) Grab my milk bottle and pass to Momi to make my Neng Neng

12) Take off my own shoes when we return from gai gai (I am still learning to wear my shoes on my own. Have not quite master how to put the velcro on yet.)

Everytime I accomplish a task, I would clap my hands together to prompt them for a compliment. Yah! I very thick-skinned one. I simply love the adults praising me for being a "good boy", "so clever", "helpful darling" etc. Hehee!!

Exclusive Shots of Mr Raymond Scissorshands in Action

Date & Time: 3 June, late morning
Location: White Room
Lead Star: Rara
Supporting Actor: Raymond Scissorshands
Camera Woman/ Props Assistant/ Nanny to Lead Actor: Notti Momi

Props required: One Baby Comb, One Baby Hairbush, One Baby Scissors, One Comfy Old Rattan Chair, One Plastic Tub full of Little Toys, Lots of Old Newspapers.

Lights and Camera ready.... rolling... action!!!

Lead Star was intrigued by the little toy animals (Dadi's childhood toys, usually kept away from him)... found his favourite horses among the other little plastic animals. Notti Momi was hanging around to distract him and snap some quick shots. Lead Star was still in an amicable mood...but not for long...

Lead Star got a bit sian liao... Didn't look pleased with the hair trim over the left ear.... He's got the "cannot tahan liao" look and looked ready to jump out of his rattan chair.....

Lead Star was unhappy that he was confined to the rattan chair and subjected to a haircut against his will... he threw tantrums and wailed, wailed, wailed.... it became a rushed hair job and the worst haircut he ever had.

Fun Time Splashing Around.

Inching my way to the side of the pool so that I could tap tap hard at the water. U got see my macho bodyguard behind or not? U dun play play ah... : )
Holding onto my green cup and scoop water to pour over my shoulders. Sometimes, I also drink the pool water from the cup... of course, Dadi would try to stop me lah... (Momi: Yew!!! Dirty boy, dirty boy!!!)

Now, this was the best part. Tapping the water surface really hard to make the water splash really high. Although I ended up with water all over my face, I had such a good time tapping the water. Of course, I was thrilled when the gor-gor next to me started practising his kicking in the water. There was just so much water being splish-splashed around. Hoho!!!

What a Splish Splash Wonderful Time!!!

Dadi and Momi brought me to the public swimming pool couple of weeks back. It was a fun time cos I hardly go into the pool. It was my third visit so far. Anyway, I decided that I do not need a float now. I simply refused to stay more than 5 mins in a float. I was happier to waddle around in the pool cos I could walk more steadily now. Of course, there was once I lost my footing and I went under the water. Hee! I came up to the surface with some help from Dadi and of course I was splattering water from my mouth lah. Hee!!! Dadi said I was gross cos I also coughed out some mucus. Yikes!!! I admit that was yucky but I could not help it mah... All the jie jies and gor-gors in the pool to please excuse moi hor. I small baby only leh. : )

Dadi giving me a push on the float.... Still quite co-operative. Willing to stay in the float and let Momi take pictures. :)

Momi brought my favourite plastic green cup along to the pool. I used it to scoop water and pour over my shoulders as if I pom-pom in the water. But my aiming was no good and ended up throwing water on Dadi who was behind me. Hee hee!!!

Issues over the bad hair job

Nai Nai was commenting on my ugly haircut over dinner last night. She was telling Momi to send me to the barber for a proper haircut cos now I look like a "Lao Chak" (meaning Old Thief) now. Hee!!! Actually hor, Nai Nai revealed that her relatives from Indonesia would be flying into Singapore in end June... tsk tsk tsk... It is quite obvious why Nai Nai is so concerned over my haircut this time. Yah lor!!! So ugly-looking, sure embarassed her one.

Hee! Momi told Dadi about my "Lao Chak" look and he had a good laugh over it. Momi wondered if she should send me for a haircut this weekend and Dadi was quite boh-chap and adopted a see-how attitude. Another option would be to get the hair clipper and subject me to another ordeal under the hands of Mr Raymond Scissorshands lor... (which I am not really keen leh!!!)...Actually hor, I'm also quite chin-chye whether I get another haircut cos I still find myself quite cute-looking, even with a bad hair job. Keke!!! So shamelessly conceit hor!!!

Ha Choo! Ha Choo! *Cough Cough* *Sniffles Sniffles*

Poor me caught the flu bug from Dadi liao. The symptoms developed yesterday and Nai Nai told Momi and Dadi when they came home last night. Dadi admitted it could be his flu bug cos he gave a smooch before he left for work yesterday morning.

Momi laughed at me and said I had 2 Bi Ti Chong (trails of mucus, thanks to my runny nose... yeeky!!!). I could still run around and play during the day, but it got uncomfortable during the night. I was unable to sleep well due to the "leaky tap" (my nose lah!). It interfered with my breathing. I woke up a few times crying in discomfort. Poor Momi had to stay up to cuddle and rock me back to sleep. I simply refused to be put back to bed and clung onto her like a baby chimp. So "Manja" hor? Bt I was sick mah, not feeling well... Poor Momi had to rock me to sleep in a sitting position and sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to soothe me... Poor Momi, she bare caught any sleep at all.

I only managed to get some sleep in the early morning and did not woke up in time to bade bye bye to Momi. Hope I will feel better today and sleep better tonight so that Momi could rest too. I love you, Momi. *Muaks*

Off to the Chalet for a BBQ!!! Yipee!!!

Peixiang Gu Gu organised a BBQ at a Loyang chalet last weekend to have a get-together for everyone, as well as to celebrate Gu Po's birthday...(Erhhh...why I not see any birthday cake huh? U adults hid from me cos U dun want to let me eat ah???).....

Anyway, I was looking forward to the chalet cos there would be a lot of people (I absolutely love crowds!!!) and not to forget, loads of food... Yums... Momi was orginally looking forward to the chalet cos we could go swimming... Unfortunately, she wasn't feeling well that weekend, but boh bian, she must give face and turn up. :p

Well, the food thingy wasn't as fantastic as I expected cos I didn't get to eat much cos largely BBQ stuff. Luckily, Momi made up for it by cooking yummy bee hoon soup for me which I duly finished up before the BBQ started. After that, it was just munching on fried egg and marie biscuits which Nai Nai provided. :) But it was alright cos I was pretty happy with these food.

The best part of the whole chalet thingy was the beach. Yeah! This is the first time I ever get down to the beach and into the water. I was thrilled to see the waves up close. The moment Dadi put me down on the beach, I immediately waddled into the water. So exciting to feel the waves crashing around my feet. I wanted to go deeper into the water but Dadi caught me before I could venture further. :p

There was this Jie Jie on the beach who followed me into the water. However, she got scared of the waves and tried to cling onto my Dadi's thigh cos he was the nearest adult around. Hee! Jie Jie, you can hold on to me mah!!! Fortunately, her papa came to her rescue when he saw her panicking reaction.

Well, I could only play in the water for a while cos Dadi found the water very dirty and plucked me out after a moment. He said those big ships out there were spilling pollutants into the water and that beach was not good for swimming. Shoots!!! But I not done with the fun leh!!! I tried to make my way back to the water on my short little legs, but there were no ways I could out-run Dadi who had longer legs than me. He always managed to get me before I could step back onto the sandy beach. :(

My waddling in the water also "drowned" the beeping mechanisms in my slippers. No sound came out of them after I came out of the water. Hee!!! Momi said nevermind cos I am outgrowing the slippers and she would be get a new pair of me. Yipee!!!!

BTW, sorry to mention that there would be no recent photos cos I just got a haircut by Mr Raymond Scissorshands and his pretty assistant, Notti Momi, last Sat. It was a really bad hair job this time. One side over the ear is trimmed higher than the other. Very ugly. Notti Momi tried to cover up the bad hair job by making me wearing my cap during the chalet. Guess the other adults were too polite to comment on my haircut when I took off my cap. Only my Nai Nai dared to comment how bad I looked. Momi and Dadi just shrugged off the comments cos they opined that my hair would grow out soon and I would look ok in another two weeks. Blah!!!

Baby Talk

Although I am not really speaking well at this stage, I am able to understand what the adults are saying. However, I am selective about processing what I hear and acting according to their instructions. Keke!!!

I am still babbling in my baby language and am absolutely comfortable babbling and even singing in this sophiscated language. Momi knows that I could make the following sounds: - "Papa", "Mama", "Nai Nai" (grannie or milk), "Mum Mum" (eating or any food), "gor-gor" (brother), "ba" (bus), "Voom Voom" (any vehicles), "Nana" (Banana), "Mei Mei" (Teochew- Quickly), "Mai Mai" (Teochew- Don't Want), "Bor" (Ball), "Kok Kok Gay"(Chicken).... but I hardly consciously make an effort to say them lah. She thinks I have gold in my mouth and it would drop out if I open my mouth to speak. Keke!!! Actually hor, it is because I am lazy to speak lah. Hee!

I think Momi is quite desperate to hear me call her "Mama" or "Mummy" in an endearing tone. Hee! I think she will probably be very touch when I call her properly. Now, I only calls out to her when she dumps me alone in my cot back home at Sengkang. As for Dadi, I dun think he cares much about when I start calling him. He is just waiting for me to call when I'm ready. : )
